The list in the post is the most up-to-date I have. However, you can subscribe to Lloyd’s Registry and get more current information yourself if you would like.

The country of registration is irrelevant to these sanctions since they are based on the IMO number, which can’t be changed.

I do not have any comments, rather, two questions:

1. Kindly provide me with an up to date list of the ships whose names have been changed.

2. Some of the ships have changed their registrations to other countries like Cypress. Would you be kind enough to provide a list of those ships whose registration and flags are changed.

There is, however, nautical precdent for botanical names – the Flower Class Corvettes of World War II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flower_class_corvette). These vessels included, among many others, HMS Lavender.

Decretive looks like a misspelling to me. Perhaps they meant “secretive.”
