		<description>There is, of course, a good argument that EAR 734.7, which exempts certain published information from the scope of the EAR, would cover that, and my elaborate &quot;warning&quot; was meant to be slightly facetious and to underline the need for review of the ECCN.  BUT, like its equivalent provision in the ITAR, 734.7 doesn&#039;t explicitly mention the Internet, an argument that DDTC has used to claim that technical data on the Internet may still be subject to export controls.</description>
